Provider Network Update: CareOregon Provider Manual Revised
We're excited to share the latest updates to our CareOregon Provider Manual. It’s important to review the manual to stay informed about the latest updates and resources.
Highlights of the latest updates:
- Provider Manual Organization: Sections have been reorganized and streamlined for clarity and ease of navigation.
- Updated Policies: Revisions to Member Rights and Responsibilities and Language Access to reflect current Oregon Health Authority (OHA) requirements and CareOregon policies.
- Clarified Processes: Guidance on services billed directly to OHA (fee-for-service) versus those coordinated through CareOregon has been refined.
- Expanded Resources: A new “Definitions and Acronyms” section has been added to improve understanding of key terms and concepts.
This manual applies to all providers serving CareOregon members across any line of business and acts as an extension of our contracted provider agreements. Please review the updated manual as soon as possible to ensure you understand the changes.
