New streamlined process for behavioral health treatment notifications, authorizations

May 11, 2022, 21:30 PM

We have been reviewing our treatment notification and authorization processes and have developed a new process that eliminates the need for the treatment notification forms for services that do not require a clinical review for prior authorization.

We are happy to announce that, effective immediately, treatment notification forms are no longer required for outpatient, respite, ACT, EASA, crisis and Wraparound services. That also means there will be no authorization in the system for you to track against. Your claims will pay automatically for covered services provided to JCC members.

You are a highly valued part of our behavioral health network and we appreciate your service in support of our members. We are always striving to find opportunities to increase efficiencies and reduce administrative burdens where we can in order to maximize our limited resources.
