Supporting our community with emergency funding

Jackson Care Connect is proud to support community-based organizations that are helping our community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic with our emergency funding grants. These organizations are providing critical services including food, childcare, housing and case management to vulnerable and at-risk populations. By providing funding to our community partners, we are helping deliver critical services to help our neighbors who need it most.

Butte Falls Community Partnership: providing emergency food and transportation support.

Consumer Credit Counseling Services: helping people facing financial problems with credit counseling and financial education services.

Hearts with a Mission: meeting basic needs and providing comprehensive services including housing and case management support to youth who are homeless or at-risk.

Jackson County Greenway Project: providing support for people living on the Bear Creek Greenway to enable them to safely shelter in place during the pandemic. The project provided food, medical support, handwashing stations and bathrooms.

Jackson County Mental Health: supplying individuals who are unsheltered with emergency supplies such as tents, sleeping bags, blankets, hygiene kits, phones and clothing.

Listo: providing emergency support to Latino families including food, educational materials, and referrals to key service providers and community partners.

Options for Helping Residents of Ashland: providing temporary housing support and case management for people who are unsheltered.

Rogue Retreat: supporting the organization’s work to provide housing and case management support to people in need.

Rogue Valley Family YMCA: providing emergency childcare to essential workers affected by school and childcare closures. People who use this service include health care workers, first responders, police department employees and grocery store employees.

Unete: providing emergency support for migrant workers in need, including assistance with food, medication and utility bills, as well as OHP enrollment assistance.

United Way: supporting their small business and individual grant fund, which provides support with housing/rent, utilities, food, childcare, mental health, transportation, and other critical needs.
