Dental care is an important part of your family’s regular health routine. Here are some tips for oral health.
Infants and Children
Cavities are the most common childhood disease. Regular dental visits help prevent cavities.
Dental sealants on permanent molars are covered by the Oregon Health Plan for children under 16.
All adults should see their dentist at least once a year and complete any necessary treatment as soon as possible. People with certain conditions need to take especially good care of their teeth and gums.
Where do I get dental care?
Your dental health plan is listed on your member card. You can call that phone number to get help finding a dentist or to make an appointment. Or, call the CCO Customer Service number on your card to get help.
You can also see provider directories for your dental plan online:
What if I need a ride to the dentist?
If you have no other way to get there, we can offer a free ride to medical and dental visits. Call at least two days in advance to schedule a ride with TransLink, 1-888-518-8160.
We hope you’ll call right away to make an appointment for an exam and cleaning.
